Two Dawns Church

The Two Dawns Baptist Church is organized around a simple axis that sets up two different experiences: one grounded in community and one oriented toward the sacred. Located on a site that of a church that previously had burned down, the church follows motifs that allude to the greatest resurrection in scripture: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The fellowship hall embodies the earthy, everyday rhythms of gathering, while the sanctuary rises toward the sublime, framing light and form as sacred cues. Together, they create a clear but balanced relationship that ties the building’s purpose to the way people move, gather, and reflect within it.
